Nikon Seewide

Wide Angle Vision

The first double-aspheric progressive lens with Nikon Aberration Filter®.

Seewide is Nikon's premium double-aspheric progressive. Using digital surfacing, it incorporates the back-surface "Nikon Aberration Filter". Unique to Nikon, the Aberration Filter acts as a true "image enhancer" reducing aberrations created by the front progressive surface by up to 40%. Adaptation is virtually instantaneous and visual performance is unsurpassed. Nikon Seewide is available in 2 versions - Seewide 12 and Seewide 14.

When to use

  1. Nikon Seewide 12: Short corridor progressive design for:

    • Small frames
    • Patients requiring wider near vision
    • Previous BF and Near SV wearers
    • Previous Presio-i 13 wearers
  2. Nikon Seewide 14: Generalist design for all presbyopes, and especially for:

    • Those who wish to improve their distant, intermediate & dynamic vision

What Seewide technology brings to your patient

Seewide technology uses Nikon Aberration Filter to provide:

  • Wide-angle vision: images are clearer and more accurate over the entire lens surface. Far vision is significantly wider; near vision is 40% to 70% wider and unrestricted; peripheral vision is flawless and intermediate is up to 20% wider.
  • Instant focusing: acuity is improved whatever the direction of gaze, switching from one area to another is smooth and fast.
  • Instant adaptation: unwanted astigmatism is reduced by up to 40% compared to previous lenses. "Swim" is minimised for greater visual comfort.
