Varilux Academy - Wednesday May 27th 2009Topic: Buying Behaviour of the Presbyope & Managing and Motivating the PAL (progressive lens) wearer For the past 7 years, Varilux Academy has assisted thousands of practitioners to expand their understanding of modern lenses, progressives in particular, as well as highlighting the communication skills required to sell them. Academy is a cooperative agreement between Essilor and the International Centre for Eyecare Education. This Academy session is accredited for 6 CPD points for Optometrist Association Australia members. |

ODMA Fair - Friday 10th July - Sunday 12th July 2009Essilor Australia is celebrating Varilux’ 50th Birthday with its presence at ODMA 2009 and a birthday cocktail party on the Saturday night. Focusing on Varilux this year, the theme will evolve around Varilux’ recently launched product range, the Varilux 360º Series. Essilor will also use the platform of ODMA to introduce additional new designs. The much talked about Essilor Visioffice machine will be presented at ODMA, allowing visitors to trial the machine hands on. The innovation incorporates measurement capabilities as well as education and entertainment elements, the practice can benefit from. The team at Essilor is looking forward to welcoming visitors at stand number 141. |

Varilux Academy Asia Pacific (VAAP) is an innovative education programme for practitioners, conducted throughout the region via a cooperation agreement between Essilor and the International Centre for Eyecare Education (ICEE).
