Introducing Presio GO Digital Progressive Lenses - Digital Precision within everyone’s reach.

15 June 2010 Filed under:

Digital technology surrounds us and offers new ways to see the world better, whether by increasing the number of pixels in digital cameras or viewing television in glorious high-definition.

As the leader in the photographic industry, Nikon has been able to perfect the world of digital technology. Lens technology is constantly evolving and Nikon is at the forefront with its flair for precision manufacturing and development of progressive designs.

Presio GO Digital, the latest addition to the Nikon progressive portfolio, follows the technological footsteps of the previous Presio-i design philosophy, offering now advanced, digital precision in everyone’s reach.

This new back surface design benefits from Nikon’s proven aspheric lens technology. Aspheric technology, originated in camera lens designs, produces thinner, lighter, flatter and optically better performing lenses.

Nikon Presio GO Digital is optimised by the unique Nikon Calculation Engine. The Nikon mathematical algorithm is only completed once the order with the individual RX is received. The optimisation process starts by analysing point by point what the wearer power should be. The process is repeated many times in order to correct visual aberrations as much as possible.

The surface is optimised by reducing aberrations for more controlled visual areas for the wearer.

Nikon’s sophisticated and unique processing technology, Nikon Digital Surfacing, is the backbone of Presio GO Digital. It enables superior precision for increased image resolution. “Presio GO Digital offers sharper and wider fields of vision – with the advantage of a proven consumer brand.” says Robert Springer, Nikon Business Development Manager at Essilor.

This is what truly differentiates Nikon’s offer from its competitors. The Nikon brand is known and trusted world wide and can support practices in positioning themselves in today’s competitive market.

Presio GO Digital is now available in two progression lengths and a range of materials; 1.50, 1.60 and 1.67 in clear and Transitions. Please contact your Essilor Account Manager now for more information on Presio GO Digital or visit http://www.nikoneyes.com.au.
